LaVere, born and raised in Ventura and Ojai, California earned his law degree from the Pepperdine University School of Law in 2006, where he also earned a Certificate in Dispute Resolution from Pepperdine's Strauss Institute. Mr. LaVere earned a bachelor's degree cum laude, with honors and distinction from Pepperdine University in 2000. Prior to attending law school, Mr. LaVere spent more than three years in Washington, D.C. working in both the White House and on Capitol Hill. While in law school, Mr. LaVere spent a semester clerking at the Ventura County District Attorney's Office and did a summer externship at the United States Attorney's Office in Las Vegas, Nevada, earning significant trial experience in both jobs. Mr. LaVere is a member of the firm's California Civil Litigation practice group, with a focus on business law, community association law, real estate law and construction law. Mr. LaVere is also licensed to practice law in the State of Nevada and is a member of the firm's growing Nevada practice group. Mr. LaVere concentrates his Nevada practice on representing Homeowners' Associations and individual homeowners in all aspects of community association, real estate, and construction law. |
